What is GutBusters?

GutBusters is a combined health, weight loss and fitness service in one place for men who want some support to help them improve their physique, lose some excess weight and be fitter.

It does this by offering a range of packages that can be used on their own or combined together to help them achieve faster results.  The main aims of the packages are to help men:

  • Have more knowledge around how to lose weight and keep it off, nutrition and how to exercise effectively.
  • Be in better control over lifestyle choices that may affect their health, weight, fitness and body shape.
  • Be in a friendly non-judgmental environment where they can be themselves.
  • Achieve their weight loss and fitness goals while having some fun, banter and camaraderie along the way.

Why a men’s only service?

Simply put, there aren’t many services in one place aimed specifically for men to help them lose weight and get fitter.

In England there are more overweight and obese men (67%) than women (62%), but only a small percentage of men attend weight-loss programmes compared to women. 

Exercise should also be a key part of any weight management programme, but unfortunately most weight loss programmes don’t deliver any exercise sessions all.

That’s why we created GutBusters as service that includes exercise and nutritional advice in one place to help you lose weight, be fitter and improve your body shape.

The GutBusters pathway – Dave’s journey

Dave is a 46 year old man who is 1½ stones overweight, feeling unfit and not happy with his physique. 

He decides he wants to make some changes to lose the extra weight he’s put on in the last few years, gain some muscle to improve his body shape, be stronger and feel fitter.
